Duchess’ twinning moment with supermodel

Meghan Markle channels Gigi Hadid’s style during her last royal appearance

Completing their final event as senior royals, the couple joined the Queen, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day.
Meghan Markle ensured she went out making a style statement wearing a bright emerald green cape dress by London-based designer Emilia Wickstead.
To complete her ensemble Meghan, 38, wore a William Chambers hat in the same stunning colour, accessorised with a Gabriela Hearst mini bag in a deeper green and wore a pair of nude Aquazzura stiletto pumps.

It seems the former Suits actress took some style tips from model Gigi Hadid with her statement cape dress.
In April last year, Gigi was spotted wearing a cape jumpsuit by the same designer Meghan wore, Emilia Wickstead, while at an event in New York City.
The model’s blue jumpsuit certainly turned heads, just as Meghan’s ensemble did.
It was definitely a twinning style moment for two powerful women.

Meghan’s emerald green moment marked her final appearance as a senior royal alongside husband Prince Harry.
While the pair don’t officially step down until March 31, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t currently have any other scheduled engagements in the diary.
Earlier this year in January, Harry and Meghan announced their intent to step down as senior royals in order to become financially independent.
Since then the couple, along with their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, have been residing in Vancouver, Canada.
